Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience
  • Mechanical background and proven mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to interpret and follow engineering blueprints and/or 3D models
  • Ability to change direction and handle multiple tasks on a regular basis
  • Willing to put in extra effort and hours including some weekends and holidays as needed
  • Intermediate computer skill, including Microsoft Office system and MRP system
  • Practice great housekeeping in and around your work area. This includes preventative maintenance
  • Actively maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety policies
  • Self-motivated, energetic, dependable, honest and thorough
  • Attention to detail and process-oriented mindset with results driven background
  • Team attitude: eager to cooperate with others and help team move projects and improvement efforts forward

Responsibilities

  • Assemble highly engineered centrifugal pumps and compressors
  • Run testing protocols for pumps and compressors and analyst test data; interfacing with Engineering, customers and inspectors
  • GTAW
  • Be able to achieve precision pipe fitting and tube bending
  • Fit and assemble pipe and tubing along with large and small components
  • Assemble complete equipment builds (unit and kit) according to engineered blueprints
  • Assist with testing of components and systems, interfacing with customers and inspectors
  • Communicate timely to management on all pertinent issues related to your daily work (i.e. job status, backlog, machine and/or tooling issues)
