About The Position

Capgemini is hiring a Senior WebMethods Integration Engineer to lead solution design, architecture alignment, and delivery of enterprise‑grade integration solutions.

Requirements

  • 6–12 years of professional experience in software development and system integration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong foundation in software engineering disciplines, including SDLC, architecture principles, data management, and best practices.
  • At least 5 years of technical leadership experience, guiding or influencing development teams across delivery cycles.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Enterprise integration RESTful API design and implementation Service‑oriented architecture (SOA) and Legacy system modernization
  • Strong, hands-on experience with the WebMethods product stack, including design, development, configuration, and deployment.
  • Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and WebMethods capabilities to stakeholders, client teams, and non‑technical audiences.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills to diagnose complex issues and deliver sustainable solutions.
  • Solid understanding of architectural concepts for enterprise platforms, including Security and encryption Authentication and authorizationLogging, monitoring, and error handling Throttling and traffic management Scalability, clustering, and high availability
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical discussions into actionable deliverables.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional, onshore–offshore teams and manage dependencies across systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior hands-on contributor within integration and API development teams.
  • Own complex integrations and APIs end‑to-end design, development, configuration, deployment, and support.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into clear, comprehensive technical designs aligned with architectural standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Technical Leads and Architects to ensure solutions adhere to enterprise integration patterns and best practices.
  • Lead or significantly influence development teams to ensure delivery within defined timelines, scope, and budget.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues through structured analysis and root‑cause identification.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to improving code quality, reusable components, and engineering standards.
  • Work across both business and technical domains to ensure alignment between requirements, design, and execution.
