We're pioneering web-based platforms that make major events—from sports and entertainment to elections and earnings—accessible and actionable for users. As a Senior Web Engineer, you'll be the founding web developer on the team—building rich, scalable pages for logged-out users, driving SEO strategy, and partnering with backend, iOS, and Android engineers to bring key market moments like the Super Bowl, March Madness, and midterm elections to life! This role is based in our New York, NY office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. Requirements

• 5+ years of full-time professional experience with modern Web standards, technologies, and frameworks
• Skilled at writing and efficiently debugging JavaScript in Node and browser environments
• Strong background in building performant, scalable consumer-facing products
• Have a track record of successfully leading projects and delivering large scope technical projects at scale
• Constantly setting a high standard for code quality, advocating for best practices in testing, and improving code review processes
• Experience working in high-growth environments and shipping quickly

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality, performant products that leverage technologies like React, TypeScript, and CSS-in-JS
• Own and drive features from inception and design to implementation and launch, being the web expert on your team
• Build and improve tools to support Robinhood's operations and platforms, providing leverage across the company
• Collaborate with design and product experts to rapidly iterate and ship financial products
• Build frameworks and abstractions to materially accelerate and empower other developers
