About The Position

The Senior Wealth Strategist serves as the primary Wealth Planning expert and resource for high net worth prospects and client relationships involving complex financial issues and strategies. This role includes providing professional consulting and advisory services through the development, delivery, and implementation of customized wealth plans. The strategist is responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience while managing risks and adhering to the bank's policies and procedures. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying and addressing clients' financial needs, particularly in areas such as estate, tax, insurance, investment, and retirement planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • CFP, JD, CPA, or LLM required.
  • 10+ years in financial and/or estate planning related work.
  • High level of technical expertise in estate, tax, option, retirement, insurance, investment, and cash flow/capital needs planning analysis.
  • Advanced listening, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in sales and/or marketing.
  • Resourcefulness in finding creative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver customized wealth plans based on each client's facts and circumstances.
  • Provide professional consulting and advisory services to clients.
  • Review all client deliverables for which the planner is the lead.
  • Identify issues and planning opportunities for review with clients and their advisors.
  • Conduct research on complex tax and estate planning strategies.
  • Develop financial modeling and flowcharts to demonstrate economic impacts.
  • Deliver wealth plans to clients and respond to their questions.
  • Develop relationships with client relationship managers and sales officers.
  • Coach and counsel relationship managers on financial planning strategies.
  • Expand relationships with centers of influence such as attorneys and CPAs.
  • Assist in the development and presentation of training programs.
  • Maintain knowledge of complex planning techniques and relevant legislative changes.
  • Participate in community and industry-specific forums to broaden relations.
  • Collaborate with management and peers to support growth and financial results.
  • Participate in the ongoing development of the wealth planning process.
