As a Senior Wealth Strategist within PNC's Private Bank organization, you will be based in Boston, MA. PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance. The role involves developing, consulting on, and implementing tax, estate, and financial plans for clients, including those of the greatest complexity. It requires collaboration with other planning resources, partnering in new client acquisition, and retaining, expanding, and deepening existing relationships. The Senior Wealth Strategist conducts and reviews research, develops financial analyses and plans, and makes recommendations to the team and clients. They may also provide direction to other wealth strategists and associates, grow assets under management, identify sales opportunities, and develop new client relationships through networking, prospecting, and referrals.

Requirements

  • University / college degree (or a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience including military service).
  • Industry relevant experience is typically 8+ years.
  • Specific certifications are often required.
  • JD (Juris Doctor) degree.
  • Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
  • Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • Competencies: Business Acumen, Client Relationship Management, Decision Making and Critical Thinking, Effective Communications, Investments, Networking, Problem Solving, Products and Services, Value Selling.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, consults on and implements tax, estate and financial plans for clients, including those of the greatest complexity.
  • Collaborates with other planning resources on specific subject matters of greatest complexity and partners in the acquisition of new clients.
  • Retains, expands and deepens existing relationships.
  • Conducts and reviews research, as appropriate, and develops tax, estate and financial analyses and plans.
  • Makes generally accepted recommendations to team and may make recommendations to clients.
  • May provide direction to wealth strategists and associates.
  • Retains and grows assets under management by working with clients, prospective clients, and Centers of Influence and providing advice and implementation.
  • Identifies solutions and PNC services as sales opportunities to enhance existing client relationships.
  • Develops new client relationships through networking, prospecting and referrals.
