About The Position

The Senior Wealth Planning Associate is responsible for assisting a Financial Advisor (FA) or Financial Advisor Team to prepare and deliver financial plans and help support client relationships. This individual must be knowledgeable of and comply with all rules and regulations of the firm as well as the various regulatory agencies. Responsibilities: Gather and analyze data, develop of financial planning recommendations, implementation, and portfolio management. Profile clients to identify investment and lending needs and coordinates the delivery of investment, fiduciary and lending solutions to satisfy those needs. Assist the FA/FA team to implement a defined asset allocation and investment strategy. Offer investment ideas based on firm research, team guidelines and asset allocation strategies tailored to the risk profile and investment objectives of their clients. May act as a primary relationship officer for the accounts that are assigned to them by the FA/FA Team. What you have: 2 years’ experience in financial planning role Bachelor's Degree Professional Licenses: CFP, Series 7, 63 and 65 (or 66) Must obtain insurance license within 12 months of hire Completion of relevant training as determined by Janney Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as experience with financial planning, client relationship management (CRM), and portfolio management software Detail oriented Strong time management skills to support the overall goals of the team Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment Critical thinking skills High ethical standards Why work for us? Requirements

  • 2 years’ experience in financial planning role
