As a Senior Water / Wastewater Project Manager joining our New England Area Water Team, you will support our growing water resources market in New England through the successful management of our water and/or wastewater projects. This candidate will work in our team-oriented environment, primarily providing municipal clients with professional engineering services that cover the lifecycle of the project, including planning, design, construction documents, public bidding and construction administration. The majority of our team enjoys a hybrid schedule, which allows us to offer this role in any of our New England offices: Boston, MA; Springfield, MA; Worcester, MA; Rocky Hill, CT; Portland, ME; or Manchester, NH offices. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to successfully manage projects for water and/or wastewater clients both new and long-term, supported by talented project teams of engineers, scientists, and planners to deliver a full range of water-related engineering services that include complex, multi-disciplinary projects through planning, design and construction. Participate in technical/project scoping activities and proposal presentations with targeted clients. Lead and participate in technical, cost, and scheduling decisions, adhering to company quality standards (including internal quality control and risk management protocols such as peer reviews), and driving customer value. Mentor the technical development of staff to encourage professional growth and development. Foster existing client relationships through quality and interpersonal skills. Aim to network and build new client relationships.

  • Successfully manage projects for water and/or wastewater clients both new and long-term.
  • Participate in technical/project scoping activities and proposal presentations with targeted clients.
  • Lead and participate in technical, cost, and scheduling decisions.
  • Adhere to company quality standards including internal quality control and risk management protocols.
  • Drive customer value.
  • Mentor the technical development of staff.
  • Foster existing client relationships and build new client relationships.
  • B.S. in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of related experience.
  • Strong technical expertise in municipal water and/or wastewater engineering.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and technical writing skills.
  • Professional Engineering Registration is preferred.
