Water/Wastewater Engineer
About The Position
Reputable multidisciplinary design firm is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to join their Joplin, Missouri team. The role encompasses engineering and project management duties, including evaluating, designing, and constructing projects. Key responsibilities involve assisting with the development of project scope and schedule, preparing project documentation, and reviewing shop drawings. The position will focus on wastewater projects such as piping extensions and rehabilitation, new and rehabilitated pump stations, and both rehabilitation and new construction of treatment plants for various treatment processes. The engineer will also be required to travel to job sites for observation and will be responsible for mentoring and training junior staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- 8+ years of related water/wastewater experience
- PE License
- Experience with AutoCAD and other related software
- Experience with modeling software
