About The Position

The Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer and Project Manager will play a crucial role in leading municipal water and wastewater projects in Utah. This position focuses on expanding the company's presence in the local water market, managing project teams, and engaging in business development activities to attract new clients.

Requirements

• BS in Civil Engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer in UT.
• 10+ years of experience as a municipal utilities design engineer with general civil and water/wastewater design experience.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal design standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Background in AutoCAD; GIS experience is a plus.
• Technical memorandum and report writing skills.

Nice To Haves

• 15+ years of experience as a water/wastewater design engineer with general civil and water resource design experience.
• Experience working with water conservation districts in Utah and local public work departments.
• Experience with GIS related to water and wastewater master planning.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Senior Engineer or Project Manager for municipal water and wastewater projects.
• Plan, design, and lead a variety of municipal water/wastewater systems and facilities.
• Collaborate with a team of support professionals including drafters, EITs, GIS technicians, and technical editors.
• Coach and mentor entry-level staff.
• Interface with clients and public agencies.
• Assist in business development efforts, including preparing proposals and participating in interviews.
