In this role, you will interact with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals throughout the U.S. and will provide leadership and client development specifically in water resources, water supply reliability, planning, and regulatory compliance for clients primarily within the Water Sector. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, water resources, environmental science, environmental engineering, biology, or another applicable related degree. (required)
  • At least 8 years of experience (10+ years preferred) in the water resources field in the United States, preferably in the Southwest U.S.; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
  • Experience in water supply, water conservation, and analyses pertaining to local and imported water supply, groundwater banking, and demand management. (required)
  • Ability and willingness to perform fieldwork and travel on a limited basis. (required)
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree the same. (preferred)
  • Professional registration (i.e., P.E. P.G.). (preferred)
  • Experience managing the overall delivery of projects including, project planning and controls, financial management, change management, risk management, and contract/subcontract management. (preferred)
  • Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers. (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing water supply analyses pertaining to local and imported water, groundwater banking, water transfers, and demand management projects
  • Managing multiple projects within the scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensuring quality standards on project deliverables
  • Managing the overall delivery of projects including, project planning and controls, financial management, change management, risk management, and contract/subcontract management
  • Effectively stewarding and building client relationships to repeat business
  • Developing business opportunities with new and existing clients and preparing associated proposals
  • Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.
