About The Position
The Senior Water Operator I / II position involves overseeing and maintaining water quality and pressure across the city. This role includes operating water distribution stations to ensure compliance with regulations set by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. Responsibilities include daily operations such as sample collection, report preparation, recording findings at water plants, and conducting chemical tests to ensure water quality standards are met. This is a safety-sensitive and/or DOT position. Therefore, participation in random drug testing at the city will be mandatory.
