About the team and the role: With innovative and exciting operational initiatives, the Authentication Operations team is a fast-paced and passion-filled team to be a part of. This team has successfully launched watches, handbags, sneakers, trading cards, jewelry and apparel authentication in the US, CA, AU, UK, DE and JP in under four years. We are a group of unique and diverse teammates who together make a complete business unit and are seeking a Watch Authentication Operations Leader, to drive success in our Moonachie, NJ facility. You will be joining the Global Facility Operations team and reporting to the Manager of Watch Authentication of our Moonachie facility. You will be responsible for performing professional and technical repairs and refurbishing of luxury brand watches, respecting deadlines. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to contributing to positive employee relations within the team. You will collaborate regularly with internal and external partners to ensure alignment to eBay principals and business goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in repairing & polishing high-end watches with sophisticated mechanical and quartz movements.
• Ability to analyze repair issues.
• Focused on details, prioritizes work and can maintain high standards of quality.
• Has a keen team spirit and sets priorities effectively.
• Ability to respond quickly to fluctuations in work volume.
• Ability to work efficiently with time schedules and deadlines.
• Clear and concise communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and a proven ability to work independently and influence others.

Responsibilities

• Inspect luxury watches from luxury brands for all timepieces, including quartz, mechanical, & chronograph movements.
• Demonstrate knowledge of how to set, adjust and activate all functions of watches, including final controls.
• Demonstrate ability to repair/replace movements, gaskets, crystals, cases & crowns.
• Knowledge and ability to use repair tools and testing equipment.
• Knowledge of technical estimates and processes.
• Demonstrate ability to make a correct diagnosis.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workshop area.
• Follow all company protocols for securing and storing company and customer-owned merchandise.
• Ensure work area is in constant compliance with health & safety requirements.
• Ensure proper quality of service according to brand standards.
• Take proactive steps to ensure that best practices are followed and champion eBay DNA principles.
