Join us as our new Senior Warehouse Operator You'll be responsible for shipping and receiving functions, ensuring materials are shipped accurately and timely, as well as inventory management and material transfers.

Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3-5 years related experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse operations and inventory control
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in multiple units of measure.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and communicate changes accordingly.
  • A working knowledge in Microsoft Office programs and SAP.
  • Physical ability to move about the warehouse and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Picking and packing customer orders accurately for timely shipment.
  • Planning and coordinating material transfers between multiple warehouses to ensure materials are on-hand to meet production and customer needs.
  • Prioritizing safety in all aspects of daily work and performing daily equipment safety checks.
  • Ensuring warehouses are kept clean and organized.
  • Actively participating in daily performance meetings, focused on continuous improvements in safety, quality, and delivery on time.
  • Scheduling and arranging UPS, LTL and truckload shipments using on-line booking platforms.
  • Assisting with cycle counts and site inventories.
  • Using enterprise planning software (SAP) to create deliveries, post goods, and perform inventory movements.
  • Leading problem solving and improvement initiatives.
  • Maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring they are current and continually improved upon.
  • Supporting coordination of domestic and international shipments and documentation as needed.
  • Ordering and maintaining stock of shipping, office and warehouse supplies.
  • Coordinating waste shipments for recycling and disposal.
  • Assisting production assembly lines as needed.
