About The Position

The Senior Warehouse Associate is a highly experienced warehouse professional with 5+ years of experience in receiving, shipping, and high-volume Will Call operations. This role serves as a senior-level team member within a family-owned, cross-functional environment and plays a critical role in ensuring operational accuracy, efficiency, and an exceptional customer pickup experience. This position focuses heavily on Will Call accuracy and reducing customer wait times while working collaboratively with Receiving and Shipping Supervisors to support seamless daily operations. The Senior Warehouse Associate will also assist in training and mentoring team members to reinforce company standards and best practices.

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive warehouse experience required
  • Strong hands-on experience in receiving, shipping and high volume Will Call operations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Will Call orders are staged accurately and completed within established timeframes.
  • Maintain a strong focus on reducing customer wait times and minimizing order errors.
  • Verify product accuracy prior to release to customers.
  • Proactively communicate with Sales and Customer Service regarding order discrepancies.
  • Identify workflow improvements that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with Receiving and Shipping Supervisors to ensure smooth material flow throughout the warehouse.
  • Support receiving and shipping functions as needed during peak periods or staffing shifts.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of all warehouse processes to ensure operational continuity.
  • Reinforce adherence to Activity Management (QMS) procedures and safety standards.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new warehouse associates.
  • Provide peer-level coaching on Will Call procedures, accuracy standards, and customer service expectations.
  • Model accountability, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Support leadership in maintaining consistent operational standards across shifts.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
