About The Position

The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Information Technology is a visionary and strategic leader responsible for overseeing the organization’s clinical technology ecosystem, with a primary focus on Homecare Homebase (HCHB) and Clinical Applications Team. This role ensures the seamless integration, performance, and evolution of clinical systems that support patient care, compliance, and operational efficiency. The SVP will lead cross-functional teams, drive innovation, and align IT strategy with clinical and business objectives to deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years in healthcare or clinical systems.
  • Deep expertise in Homecare Homebase (HCHB) and other clinical applications.
  • Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale technology initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance, and data security.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with vendor management, budgeting, and contract negotiations.
  • Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, or other IT service management frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the IT strategy for clinical applications, including HCHB, EMRs, and other patient care platforms.
  • Collaborate with clinical, compliance, and operational leaders to align technology initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Drive digital transformation and modernization across clinical systems to enhance care delivery and operational workflows.
  • Oversee and mentor directors and managers within the Clinical Applications and HCHB teams.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security of HCHB and other clinical platforms.
  • Lead system upgrades, integrations, and customizations to meet evolving clinical and regulatory needs.
  • Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to manage SLAs, contracts, and platform enhancements.
  • Ensure clinical systems meet HIPAA, CMS, and other regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with compliance and security teams to implement robust data governance and risk management practices.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for system performance, user satisfaction, and support responsiveness.
  • Serve as a key escalation point for clinical application issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in healthcare IT.
  • Evaluate and implement new tools and platforms that enhance clinical workflows and patient outcomes.
