The FIS Platform team operates as an incubated startup within FIS, with a mandate to create a world-class embedded finance platform. We have a fast-paced and fun group that believes strongly in customer-centricity and setting a high bar for everything we ship. Our team is looking for a Senior Visual Product Designer to help design the future of banking experiences for millions of consumers. This is a senior-level position within our design group, leading the development of strategic visual designs (such as sales demos, promotional assets, or early product concepts to facilitate requirements discussion), as well as illustrative and icon work to refine our visual design system and promote best practices. You will help shape design culture and work hand in hand with your design, product, and marketing colleagues, executive leadership, and others to support launches of high quality products to our clients and their customers.

Requirements

• 6+ years working in graphic design or UI fields
• Experience designing across multiple platforms and media
• Excitement to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative startup environment
• Ability to articulate design rationale across a range of fidelities and build influence across cross functional teams
• Highly proficient in design and prototyping tools (knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and Google Slides / PowerPoint a must)
• Strong foundational understanding of design principles and usability best practices

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with product and sales to produce high quality product demos and prototypes
• Work closely with executive leadership to visualize strategy and communicate it across internal channels
• Produce custom icons and illustrations that will be incorporated into our design system
• Partner with our design system team to define and drive alignment on iconography and illustration style for a large portfolio of products
• Work with marketing to produce brand assets such as custom charge cards, event collateral, and digital ads
• Participate in a cultural shift towards a design-forward environment
