About The Position

As the Senior Videographer & Editor at Sound Income Group, you’ll take center stage in transforming big-picture ideas into dynamic, results-driven video content. This role will include travel to Advisor locations, conferences, and off-sites.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of professional videography and editing experience (agency, corporate, or freelance).
  • High school diploma required; higher education or certifications are a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to lead video projects end-to-end, from concept through final editing.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience collaborating with marketing and creative teams to produce brand-aligned content.
  • Expertise in Canon cinema cameras and professional video gear.
  • Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and motion graphics techniques.
  • Strong understanding of cinematic lighting, composition, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to work for extended periods at a desk using a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds if/when necessary.
  • Routine use of telephone, email, and Microsoft Teams
  • Office-based role with travel to conferences, events, and satellite offices as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience producing branded video series or large-scale campaign videos.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret high-level marketing concepts into compelling storyboards and video strategies.
  • Pitch creative approaches, visuals, and storytelling techniques to leadership.
  • Lead all aspects of on-site and studio video shoots, including lighting, camera work, and directing talent.
  • Operate Canon cinema cameras and professional video equipment with expertise.
  • Coordinate production logistics, locations, equipment, and scheduling.
  • Edit videos to create engaging, polished final cuts with strong pacing and storytelling.
  • Incorporate advanced motion graphics, typography, branded animations, and sound design.
  • Color grade footage to ensure high production value and brand consistency.
  • Organize and manage video files with strong version control.
  • Work closely with the existing videographer/editor to plan and execute shoots efficiently.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and leadership teams to ensure alignment of project goals.
  • Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, delivering on time and exceeding quality expectations.
  • Proactively communicates project status and needs.
