About The Position

True Classic is hiring a Senior Video Editor to lead short-form video execution across paid and organic social. In this role, you will edit, iterate, and scale high-performing video content to drive customer acquisition, improve creative efficiency, and increase revenue impact across all major social platforms. All of True Classic’s roles are global and omni-channel, leading designated areas of accountability across all product categories, countries, and sales & marketing channels. This role directly impacts customer acquisition and brand growth worldwide through scalable, performance-driven video content.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional video editing experience for brands, performance marketing, or social-first media.
  • Deep expertise in short-form video platforms including TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Meta feeds.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing concepts and creative frameworks.
  • Proven ability to edit UGC-style content that feels authentic and converts.
  • High proficiency with modern video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience editing high-volume creative for DTC or e-commerce brands.
  • Strong working knowledge of AI tools for editing, captioning, upscaling, scripting, or workflow acceleration.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and act on creative performance data.
  • Background working in fast-paced, high-output creative environments.
  • Strong creative judgment around hooks, pacing, trends, and platform-native formats.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end editing of short-form video for paid ads and organic social across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
  • Convert raw footage, UGC, and brand shoots into scroll-stopping, conversion-focused assets.
  • Apply performance marketing frameworks such as Problem → Agitate → Solve, Features → Benefits, social proof, and urgency to improve hooks, retention, CTR, CVR, CPA, and ROAS.
  • Iterate based on creative performance data.
  • Deliver compelling narratives within 15–60 second formats.
  • Execute strong hooks in the first 1–3 seconds, fast pacing, tight cuts, and 1–2 second transitions optimized for mobile-first consumption.
  • Leverage Use modern editing workflows and AI tools to increase output speed, improve quality, reduce cost, and scale winning creative concepts efficiently.
  • Partner with creative strategists to translate briefs and scripts into high-performing video assets.
  • Work closely with media buyers to review creative performance, identify winners, and drive iteration.
  • Collaborate with producers and creators on UGC, shoots, and raw footage sourcing.
  • Ensure video output aligns with True Classic brand standards while remaining native to platform.
  • Support broader growth and acquisition goals through rapid creative execution and feedback loops.
