About The Position

The Sr Video Content Producer is responsible for crafting compelling videos from concept to completion for Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and its affinities. A creative storyteller who can create inspiring and captivating videos that go beyond standard corporate offerings; able to position the organization as the premier pediatric healthcare non-profit in Southern California and elevating its reputation nationwide.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5 Years of Experience
• CA Driver's License
• Skilled in videography including knowledge of the latest video, audio, lighting and camera technology
• Expertise in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro
• Experience interviewing subjects for videos
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Experience working in a hospital/health care setting
• Experience working with children and families
• Familiarity with fundraising and philanthropy

Responsibilities

• Work independently to execute video production that includes developing original concepts, writing scripts, shooting professional quality video and audio, and editing the final product.
• Able to interview medical staff, employees, families, patients, and/or other stakeholders as directed by management.
• Acts strategically to assess feasibility of video projects and ensure they reflect hospital goals and priorities and protect patient privacy; manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Provides excellent customer services and collaborates with multiple Hospital departments and divisions.
• Comfortable receiving feedback and making requested revisions.
• Skilled shooter and editor who is fluent in the latest video and audio technology, lighting concepts and editing software.
