About The Position
The Senior Vice President, Operations Manager at Suffolk will provide executive leadership and strategic direction to the operations team, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and goals. This role requires a senior leader with deep expertise in the construction management industry, a proven track record of successful preconstruction and project delivery, and strong financial acumen. The SVP, Operations Manager will work closely with senior leadership to drive business growth, operational excellence, and sector leadership. In this position, the SVP will collaborate with the Executive Vice President and other senior leaders to set the strategic direction and business objectives for Commercial projects. They will oversee the development and execution of operational strategies to ensure alignment with corporate vision and goals, serving as the regional market expert and driving market growth. The role also involves actively building Suffolk's regional network of relationships with developers, partners, and community leaders, and utilizing industry contacts to generate project leads. Financial management is a critical aspect of this role, where the SVP will establish financial performance goals for projects, review and analyze weekly financial reports, and oversee monthly financial forecasts. Additionally, the SVP will be responsible for recruiting and hiring key operational staff, mentoring future leaders, and ensuring that the team has the skills and expertise to achieve business objectives. The position also includes overseeing preconstruction efforts, ensuring compliance with the company's Standard Operating Procedures, and championing the Regional Safety effort.
