We seek a dynamic and experienced Senior Vice President of Information Technology (SVP-IT) to lead our Information Technology (IT) operations. The SVP-IT will be critical in leading our Information Technology (IT) operations. The SVP-IT will play a vital role in providing leadership and direction for all IT initiatives to ensure alignment with our business goals. This position requires a blend of strategic planning, technical expertise, and leadership skills to enhance our IT infrastructure, improve operational efficiency, and drive digital transformation. This position will be hybrid, with at least three days in Petaluma, so candidates will need to be in the Bay area, preferably North Bay or East Bay.

Requirements

• Ability to align IT strategies with business goals and foresee how emerging technologies can be leveraged to drive the company forward.
• Strong leadership to guide IT departments, manage cross-functional teams, and influence senior management and stakeholders.
• A solid understanding of current technologies, cybersecurity, data management, and IT infrastructure is essential.
• Capability to manage budgets, forecast IT expenditures and ensure that IT investments deliver value to the business.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey IT strategies to non-technical stakeholders and to facilitate collaboration between IT and other departments.
• Skills in managing change, particularly in leading digital transformation initiatives and fostering a culture that embraces innovation and adaptation.
• Understanding of how to assess and mitigate risks related to IT operations, cybersecurity threats, and technology investments.
• A forward-looking perspective on how technology can transform the business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the company's strategic plan and business objectives.
• Lead the IT department, overseeing infrastructure, cybersecurity, data analytics and management, and software application implementation and training.
• Foster innovation by identifying and integrating emerging technologies to enhance business operations and customer satisfaction.
• Guide the technical vision and strategy for an accurate, scalable, and reliable data platform.
• Manage the IT budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and return on investment.
• Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect company and customer data from threats.
• Ensure the reliability and scalability of IT systems and infrastructure to support growth and operational efficiencies.
• Recruit, train, and manage IT staff, fostering a high-performing and innovative team culture.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and technology adoption.
• Collaborate with the executive team to support cross-functional initiatives and ensure IT alignment with business needs.
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures that represent best practices and comply with industry standards.
• Manage vendor relationships, including Managed Services, and negotiate contracts to optimize technology investments.
