We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Lead Full-Stack Engineer to join our team. This role is in New York, NY You’ll be joining the Loans Enablement Platform Engineering The team's responsibilities are multifaceted and wide-ranging, encompassing the design and execution of innovative features, as well as the seamless integration of the platform with other systems and applications. This work is instrumental in maintaining the platform's performance and ensuring its continuous evolution to meet the dynamic needs of the stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10 plus years of team leadership/management experience with global team is required.
- Working experience in Agile methodology is must.
- Expert in Core / Advanced Java, python, and OOP
- Expert of front-end technologies: Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap
- 7 plus; years’ experience in developing and deploying microservices architectures using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring IOC or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of JIRA, Junit and Apache Kafka is required.
- 7 plus; years’ of Hands-on experience with SQL is required
- 5 plus; years of REST API principles, design pattern, HTTP protocol experience is required.
- Familiarity with containerization tools and cloud platforms is required.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge with NoSQL DB (Cosmos DB, MongoDB) is plus.
- Experience in securities or financial services industries is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product owner, business analysts, scrum masters, front-end and back-end developers.
- Guide and mentor small/mid-size team.
- Deliver project milestones on time and within budget.
- Design, develop and implement microservices using Java Spring Boot, ensuring code is modular, testable, and re-usable.
- Design, develop and implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript/Java ensuring an exceptional user experience.
- Ensure seamless integration and communication between front-end and back-end components.
- Utilize your knowledge in NoSQL DB (Cosmos DB) to design, develop and optimize data models for seamless storage within a distributed system.
- Guide team to create RESTful APIs to enable smooth communication between microservices and external systems.
- Conduct regular code/design reviews and enable team to maintain high code quality and reliability.
