We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Control to join our Controls team. This role is located in New York, NY. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required; advanced degree preferred
- 7-10 years of total work experience
- Experience in the U.S. & International securities, financial services industry, Banking and Broker-Dealer preferred
- Proven ability to work with large or specialized teams of Controls, Compliance, Risk & Legal professionals or multiple teams, including matrixed and geographically dispersed teams
- Demonstrated skills in directing, motivating and influencing global teams to maximize individual and team contributions
Responsibilities
- Through collaboration, identify, analyze, monitor and minimize business AML/KYC/BSA/Regulatory risks, ensuring proper control policies and procedures are in place
- Responsible for AML/KYC/BSA/Regulatory control standards and oversight of control
- Enforce policies and procedures concerning AML/KYC/BSA/Regulatory controls and risk management
- Monitor results on key AML/KYC/BSA/Regulatory risks, and root cause analyses, analyzing and determining appropriate management intervention
- Interact & enforce AML/KYC/BSA/Regulatory control standards with Client Facing teams and other business partners
- Lead regulatory change efforts with business, compliance, risk and legal partners
