Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a fast-paced agency environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, communications, Advertising or related field
  • Candidates must possess US work authorization
  • Experience in market access and managed markets
  • Develop and maintain inspirational client relationships that provide strategic thought leadership
  • Ability to master and maintain a working knowledge of the clients’ business, competition, consumer and industry trends
  • Maintain continuous dialogue with client stakeholders to ensure healthy relationships on client programs
  • Collaborate with key agency leads on thought leadership to position this client as a premiere Market Access agency solution to clients
  • Lead and inspire cross-functional collaboration internally
  • Ensure that company processes and procedures are being followed consistently
  • Set vision, articulate expectations and support the account team in order to meet and exceed client expectations
  • Monitor financial objectives for the agency
  • Broad knowledge of all aspects of content marketing, brand communications and creative/editorial development
  • Solution-oriented toward problem/challenge solving to meet internal operational needs and overall client expectations
  • Develop new business and growing current accounts
  • Manage the new business strategy, working with the Principal
  • Follow-up and track new business contacts and leads– using these to generate opportunities for capabilities meetings and new business proposals/pitches
  • Excellent presentation and pitch skills
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical and health related issues
  • Must have previously been the strategic planner on creative promotional agency accounts
  • Articulate strategic objectives in managing and growing client relationships
  • Previously must have been the designer of comprehensive strategic message plans with relevant tactics to achieve marketing objectives
  • Demonstrated experience and success in leadership of cross-functional agency teams
  • High motivation, good work ethic, maturity and personal initiative
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Personnel development and motivation skills – ability to manage and motivate personnel and peers
  • Additional responsibilities maybe added as the business changes and they continue to grow.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both for client liaison and for scientific and strategic content
  • Recruit and hire (in conjunction with Operations) highly qualified talent to meet client program objectives
  • Occasional travel maybe required
  • Proven previous experience working in major departments within an agency
  • Must have previously managed teams of 5+ direct reports
  • Proven track record of identification and generation of new business
  • Must have previously been a key participant and lead executive at major new business pitches
  • Proven ability to bring tactical innovation to provide clients with fresh offerings
  • Previously must have built and delivered plans including multi-year prelaunch market preparation through mature product promotion

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with scientific team lead as well as project leads to develop strategy and helps deliver high quality outputs.
  • Drive client brand and business objectives forward
  • Work with teams to actively seek new business opportunities from existing clients and new clients derive targeted plans to bring this about lead activities to generate this business
  • Participate and promote networking internally and externally to identify business opportunities
  • Head up pitches with new business development team
  • Convert opportunities into revenue; collaborating internally to execute and deliver high quality deliverables
  • Provide supervision, management, leadership, guidance and development opportunities within the account discipline
