We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Manager, Application Development to join our Wealth Services Platform team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in systems analysis and program development with related supervisory, management, and administrative experience.
  • Experience in the securities or financial services industries is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage one or more development teams and contribute to team objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage medium to large-sized or multiple small teams responsible for all phases of systems development and implementation, including analysis, design, development, testing, and ongoing support.
  • Analyze organizational needs for application development and interface with clients to ensure systems meet business requirements.
  • Oversee application programming and analysis projects, including development, installation, and maintenance of application programs.
  • Ensure availability, integrity, and stability of production systems by allocating appropriate resources and establishing processes for rapid problem resolution.
  • Communicate and enforce strict adherence to development and quality standards, monitoring compliance continuously.
  • Provide timely and accurate project-related information to relevant stakeholders.
  • Advocate for change management and encourage innovation and creativity in technology solutions.
  • Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff to maximize individual contributions, professional growth, and effective teamwork.
