Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Automotive Systems
  • At least 18 months of experience as a senior automotive engineer
  • At least 18 months of experience working with Advanced Driver Systems (ADS) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS); developing and implementing test validations; and using Python, JSON, and Linux.

Responsibilities

  • Create verification and validation plans based on product requirements to thoroughly test autonomy software in simulation and on vehicle;
  • Create and maintain simulation test scenarios;
  • Create and maintain system tests as part of routine system assessments and continuous integration;
  • Work with engineers to determine how to test different parts of the autonomy stack and report back test failures;
  • Organize and execute field testing to test autonomy software on-vehicle in various environments;
  • Manage full feature capability rollout, from structured development testing to public road deployment; and
  • Perform hardware integration and validation work on prototype vehicles.
