Senior Vehicle Communications & Network Engineer

SeasatsSan Diego, CA
21d$150,000 - $200,000

About The Position

Seasats builds autonomous surface vessels (ASVs) that deliver persistent maritime intelligence for defense, scientific, and commercial customers. As a Senior Communications & Network Engineer, you’ll own the end-to-end communications architecture that connects Seasats’ autonomous surface vehicles to operators, satellites, and each other. You will design, test, harden, and scale communications for real-world operations across cellular, satellite, and radio links. You’ll also spend hands-on time supporting vehicle tests and customer payload integrations. Whether vehicles are operating near land or hundreds of miles offshore, reliable communications are critical to mission success. You’ll report to our CTO and collaborate closely with the vehicle software team to deliver robust, field-proven communications for autonomous missions.
