Senior Value Consultant - West / Central U.S

ParloaAustin, TX

About The Position

As a Senior Value Consultant at Parloa, you'll be the strategic bridge between enterprise business priorities and AI-driven transformation. Your mission: architect and validate the ROI models, business cases, and financial narratives that win transformational deals and prove customer success at scale. Value Consultants will build what CFOs and COOs need to see, translate complex AI capabilities into defensible financial outcomes, and create the economic foundations that unlock enterprise deals. Your work is hands-on and insight-first—you'll be modeling, analyzing, and presenting directly in the field. What you deliver not only makes deals close, it also defines how customers experience value and shapes how we scale. This is not about generic proposals. This is about engineering the business case that makes it work—under real-world enterprise scrutiny, with economic buyers, at speed and scale.

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of professional experience in value engineering/consulting, management consulting, or strategic advisory roles supporting enterprise software/SaaS sales
  • Proven track record of building ROI models and business cases that have directly influenced $1M+ enterprise deals
  • Strong financial acumen—fluent in NPV, IRR, TCO, payback period, cost-per-interaction, and business case construction
  • Exceptional executive presence with the ability to operate independently in high-stakes settings, especially when presenting to CFOs, CIOs, and other C-level audiences
  • A strategist's mindset with bias for insight, credibility under pressure, and an obsession with making the numbers tell the right story
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for financial modeling; experience with data visualization and presentation tools

Nice To Haves

  • Industry expertise in Travel, Insurance, Healthcare, Financial Services, or Retail; experience with contact center operations, CX technology ecosystems (CCaaS, CRM, workforce management); background at top-tier consulting firms or enterprise software vendors

Responsibilities

  • Own value engineering engagements: Lead the strategic and financial execution of Parloa's value propositions inside large, complex enterprise environments. This includes owning the journey from pre-sales to expanding new use cases at existing strategic customers.
  • Build ROI models and business cases: Create executive-ready financial frameworks that quantify Parloa's impact on cost reduction, revenue generation, and customer experience metrics
  • Lead Business Value Discovery: Facilitate discovery sessions with prospects to identify objectives, pain points, and the success metrics that matter most to their organization
  • Influence at senior levels: Engage with enterprise executives and senior business stakeholders, presenting value realization reports and joint impact statements to strengthen relationships. Buyer confidence should be built across C-suite personas through rigorous, credible analysis
  • Partner with sales teams: Advise Account Executives and Solution Engineers on value-based positioning and competitive differentiation throughout the sales cycle
  • Validate under pressure: Support Engagement Managers post-live in validating realized value against projected outcomes and shaping expansion readiness
  • Shape the playbook: Act as the feedback loop between the field, our GTM teams, and product —turning strategic/customer learnings into reusable templates, industry benchmarks, and product features in the roadmap

Benefits

  • The opportunity to join a rapidly growing Conversational AI startup with offices in Berlin, New York, and Munich.
  • Invitation to join us in Berlin for an immersive company onboarding experience, where you’ll have the chance to delve into the Parloa product and immerse yourself in our dynamic company culture.
  • Hybrid work environment - we believe in hiring the best talent, no matter where they are based. However, we love to build real connections and want to welcome everyone in the office on certain days.
  • Attractive compensation package with equity.
  • Training and development budget which can be used for conferences and attending development courses to ensure continuous professional growth.
  • Flexible working hours
  • Unlimited PTO and travel opportunities.
  • Regular team events, game nights, and other social activities.
  • A beautiful office with flair in the heart of NYC with all the conveniences, such as social area, snacks, and drinks.
