The Senior UX/Visual Designer is a key role that will shape both the usability and the visual impact of the Neo4j website. You’ll partner with the content and product marketing teams to design and optimize web pages, identifying gaps and opportunities, while ensuring a consistent, branded experience across all touch points. The ideal candidate can synthesize coherent visual systems from disparate cues, balance user needs with business goals, and confidently advocate for evidence-based design decisions.

  • Bring your expertise in UX and visual design to evolve and uplevel the Neo4j website, collaborating with a small team of designers and developers
  • Have the creative freedom to experiment and innovate visual design across our web properties to enhance customer usability, experience, and journeys
  • Proactively build relationships across Product, Marketing, Sales, and global teams to create innovative user experiences
  • Facilitate design conversations with executives with confidence, skillfully guiding discussions from subjective opinions toward user- and data-driven outcomes
  • Contribute to internal processes by documenting clear briefs, estimating resources, time management, and evolve and scale design practices
  • Grow, shape, and contribute towards our web design system
  • Contribute web marketing strategies to optimize website performance, including traffic growth, conversion, and content richness
  • Evaluate and improve existing website journeys and site map
  • Present design decisions with clarity to technical and non-technical audiences, including C-suite stakeholders
  • Have 5+ years of experience
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of design principles, branding, and web accessibility standards (including WCAG compliance)
  • Have a strong portfolio that showcases both methodical thinking and beautiful web design work
  • Bring experience with responsive and mobile-first design
  • Have experience building and adhering to design best practices
  • Understand the web’s technical opportunities and limitations, including basic HTML and CSS (coding not required)
  • Are proficient with Figma, Adobe CC, design fundamentals, and asset management
  • Are excited to make a strong impact on the company’s largest customer-facing marketing product
  • Interest in interaction and/or experiential design
  • Experience with UX research and CRO testing
  • Previous experience in the technology industry, B2B, and enjoys designing for developers and data scientists
  • Understanding of CSS frameworks and how they apply to page structure
