About The Position

As a Senior User Experience Designer for Premium Analysis and Insights within the John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group, you will collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Software team members to deliver a best-in-class user experience across multiple platforms to John Deere customers. In addition, you will: Plan, coordinate, and perform UX interaction design and validation activities across multiple platforms with various customer types from a system design and data integration perspective. Be responsible for feature definition and interactions between internal and external data sources. Create (and occasionally conduct) detailed research plans and protocols, analyze data, and develop user centered system requirements. Collaborate with digital UX designers and leads on solution concepts derived from user-centered system requirements. Use designs, flows and diagrams to accelerate discussions and decisions early in and often in the product development process. Apply internal/external standards and best practices to create tangible visualizations that serve as the blueprint for product designers to turn a concept into a solution, while ensuring product styling is consistent with brand standards.

Requirements

• 4 or more years of experience in the UX industry.
• Experience planning, executing and analyzing UX / UI design projects, with a focus on user-centric solutions.
• Visual interface design experience for web and mobile formats.
• Experience applying User-Centered Design principles to complex interface problems.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, software development, marketing, and business leaders.
• Experience communicating research methodology, design concepts, data analysis, and test results to stakeholders.
• Proficiency with design and rapid-prototyping tools, such as Figma or Sketch.
• Experience creating wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to lead conversations and direct work for others.
• Understanding of accessibility design and guidelines.
