About The Position
Cubic Defense is seeking a strategic thinker with hands-on design experience to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate in both the research and design of security-focused products, utilizing your strong visual and communication skills. You will be responsible for determining the design direction for a variety of products, exercising substantial decision-making authority. Your primary focus will be to translate product requirements into intuitive user experiences while advocating for the user throughout the design process. As a key member of our team, you will effectively communicate design decisions through wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will gather insights and feedback through user research, ensuring that the design aligns with user expectations and needs. You will work alongside product managers, UI designers, and engineers from the discovery phase through to implementation, acting as the main point of contact to communicate project progress between teams and stakeholders. Your responsibilities will also include participating in the review of work products for correctness and adherence to UX design principles, responding to and resolving technical issues during development, and participating in content integration efforts. You will need to manage your time effectively, working within deadlines and offering feedback to management on ways to improve workflows and processes. Additionally, you will participate in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) events and processes, contributing to a collaborative and innovative work environment.
