In this role, you'll be designing new product offerings for a new customer experience on Amazon. We’re looking for a design leader who: - Can think big, concept and design new products of proven customer value - Is highly technical and can design solutions that remove customer pain-points - Can invent new interaction patterns and leverage technology to delight customers - Can work with a cross-functional team to develop and execute - Can design and deliver experiments that evolve into new learnings - Can think, act and design for a global customer In this role, you will be reviewing designs regularly with senior executives. You will be expected to educate down, up and out on your design decisions and back them up with data/customer insight. You will be responsible for managing your own work queue and should demonstrate an ability to work around difficult design limitations. You’ll be an advocate for our customer experience, and understand your Amazon customer base, the competition and industry. About the team This role is one of the first on a newly formed team in with a vision to create innovative automotive discovery and shopping experiences on Amazon, providing customers better convenience and more selection. We’re collaborating with other experienced teams at Amazon to define the future of how customers research and shop for cars online. We are also open to candidates in Arlington VA / D.C. areas.
