About The Position

Amazon Delivery’s Customer Experiences team (ADX CX) is seeking our next Senior UX Designer to help transform the way millions of customers communicate and confirm their delivery locations, turning uncertainty about addresses into moments of confidence and control. Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, you'll dive deep into the challenges of location communication, creating intuitive solutions that bridge the gap between how people naturally think about places and how delivery systems understand them. Your work will establish seamless connections between various UX partners and patterns, crafting a unified experience that makes even the most complex location scenarios feel remarkably simple to navigate.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of design experience
  • Have an available online portfolio
  • Experience acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps
  • Experience defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standards
  • Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, or similar
  • Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process

Nice To Haves

  • Experience applying scrum to visual or UX design processes
  • Experience with UX design of complex workflows
  • Experience designing customer facing retail products
  • Experience delivering complex, data-driven recommendations to senior leaders
  • Experience presenting designs and collaborating with all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

  • Bring forward innovative ideas and solutions and raise the bar on customer's experience with delivery
  • Effectively advocate and design for the customer through objective data such as market analysis, customer insights, technical constraints/opportunities, and business insights
  • Partner closely with business and development teams to plan and balance immediate changes with long-term, scalable solutions
  • Quickly and thoroughly creating user flows, wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes to effectively concept and communicate detailed interaction behaviors that support decision making and development
  • Assess and optimize the effectiveness of new and existing features by proactively planning, performing, and advocating validation techniques like usability testing, user research, and interpreting analytic data.
  • Present design work to UX partners, cross-disciplinary teams, and executive leaders
