About The Position

The Last Mile Delivery Design team for Amazon Worldwide Operations defines, builds, and maintains products used by Amazon businesses globally to deliver packages. This team of experienced designers, researchers, and cartographers collaborates with product teams to understand user behaviors and needs, creating high-quality experiences. They design various experiences including the Amazon mobile delivery platform, in-vehicle digital tools, DSP 2.0, Delivery Station tools, and systems supporting addresses, geolocation, routing, and deliveries. These experiences serve multiple Amazon businesses such as Amazon Logistics, Prime Now, Amazon Fresh, Amazon Flex, Amazon Key, Lockers, I Have Space, and Retail. The team seeks high-performing design leaders to drive both strategic vision and rapid execution, delivering immediate results while exploring future opportunities. This Senior UX Design role specifically focuses on enabling transporters to safely and effectively deliver packages by providing clear guidance on destinations, tasks, and optimal routes. The role requires close collaboration with cartographers, engineers, and product managers, often extending beyond digital interfaces to real-world physical processes. Designers work hands-on in a design and prototyping studio to deeply understand customer needs and create impactful experiences.
