About The Position

Help us protect all Amazon customers, from Prime Video to Fulfillment Centers. We are looking for a security focused Senior UX Designer who wants to make a difference and ensure that protecting customer data is at the forefront of all development. You will design and develop products used by all Amazon builders to identify, track, and eliminate security issues throughout the software development lifecycle. You will be challenged by large-scale data visualization and dependency constraints as you build features that delight your customers, and you will learn about and integrate critical systems across Amazon. We believe in experimentation, iterating quickly and getting feedback from our customers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of design experience
• Have an available online portfolio
• Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and prototyping in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax

Nice To Haves

• Experience applying scrum to visual or UX design processes
• Experience with UX design of complex workflows

Responsibilities

• Own the UX of an emerging product with impact across Amazon.
• Create user-focused designs by considering data, customer feedback, user research and technical constraints.
• Quickly and thoroughly create user flows, wireframes, design mockups, and prototypes to effectively conceptualize new product initiatives.
• Thoughtfully simplify and distill complex processes into intuitive and elegant experiences.
• Establish and maintain detailed user-interface patterns and specifications—working closely with developers to see your design through to deployment.
• Communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly across different audiences and varying levels of leadership.
• Partner closely with other product and design teams across Amazon.
