About The Position

About the Role The Alliance Senior Underwriter position will be responsible for underwriting partnerships in our nontraditional broker distribution channel. Today, this channel primarily includes Fortune 100 National P&C carriers. The individual will partner with multiple producers during the proposal and renewal process to look for ways to increase membership while maintaining a profitable book of business. The ideal candidate for this role has a deal-maker mentality, is comfortable in a fast-paced environment on a growing team, and is capable of delivering quality work while providing exceptional service to our partners. What You'll Do No matter the role, delivering exceptional service is the priority in everything we do at PURE. As a Senior Underwriter, this looks like: Business Management: Reviewing your book of business, tracking performance, and analyzing market conditions and competition. Broker Partnership: Building and managing broker relationships, developing goals and strategies, and collaborating to craft tailored solutions for members. Underwriting Execution: Oversee new and renewal underwriting, select risks per company guidelines, and ensure timely follow-up and closing of accounts. What You'll Need You have at least 5 years of experience underwriting, preferably in the high net worth space and you are comfortable owning a book of business. The base salary for this role can range from $75,000 to $95,000 based on a full-time work schedule. An individual’s ultimate compensation will vary depending on job-related skills and experience, geographic location, alignment with market data, and equity among other team members with comparable experience ‌ Want to Learn More?
