About The Position

As a Senior UKG Systems Analyst, you’ll apply project leadership and deep technical expertise to manage multi-departmental initiatives and serve as a trusted consultant during and after system implementations. You’ll partner with clinical, operational, and administrative teams to maximize technology capabilities that drive quality patient care, cost containment, and operational efficiency. In this role, you’ll lead and support implementation and conversion plans, develop and execute training strategies, and act as the IS liaison for assigned departments. You’ll own technical support for UKG Workforce Management systems, provide clear updates to stakeholders, and balance scope, time, budget, and quality across projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • At least 5 years of clinical, business, or technology experience required
  • 3 years of experience supporting IS Applications and managing technical projects required.
  • Advanced knowledge of application systems and tools required.
  • Proficiency in project management process and tools required.
  • Strong skills and abilities in system analysis, issues management, troubleshooting, training, and technical project scoping required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple technical projects concurrently in a highly visible and fast paced environment while exercising independent judgment in resolving problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve problems or difficulties while retaining strong and effective working relationships staying calm and objective under the stress of deadlines and obstacles.
  • Strong documentation skill and experience with user training required
  • Must be able to communicate with individuals and groups representing all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years previous work experience in an acute care hospital strongly preferred.
  • Specific experience with hospital administrative, clinical, and financial systems is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, MS Access databases preferred.
  • Proficiency in one or more technology and tool sets (e.g. web based reporting, SQL, MS Access, Crystal, Tableau, Power BI, Microsoft Visual Studio, XML, and HL7) preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or agile project management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Workday for cross-platform data flows
  • Configure and optimize UKG Pro WFM (Timekeeping, Scheduling, Absence)
  • Drive release readiness and adoption of new UKG features
  • Manage attestation workflows, union compliance, and reporting
  • Build custom reports & dashboards (UKG + Power BI)
  • Design integrations & data extracts (Boomi, APIs, Data Hub)
