About The Position

SiteCare is hiring a Senior UI/UX Designer to improve and evolve client websites quickly, cleanly, and with excellent taste. This role is ideal for a designer who moves fast without making a mess. Most of your work will be improving existing WordPress websites through high-impact section redesigns, UX cleanup, and layout refinement. You’ll also support SiteCare’s internal marketing efforts by creating ad creative and related campaign design assets. You do not need to be a WordPress developer, but you do need to understand how to design in a modular, block-based way so what you create can be implemented efficiently. This role requires consistent availability during 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET for collaboration and fast turnaround.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of UI/UX or web design experience, ideally across multiple sites and industries. Agency experience would be very relevant.
  • Strong layout and typography instincts (you can make a page feel “expensive” fast).
  • Deep expertise in Figma, including components, auto layout, and structured files.
  • The ability to recreate a site’s design in Figma using the live site as the source of truth.
  • A practical understanding of designing for WordPress block-based layouts (modular thinking, reusable patterns).
  • A low-ego, high-iteration mindset and the ability to take feedback without defensiveness.
  • Strong communication skills and a reputation for responsiveness in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Redesign key page sections (heroes, value props, social proof, CTAs, pricing, FAQs) to improve clarity, hierarchy, and conversion flow.
  • Clean up UX issues across existing pages, including site navigation, user journeys, spacing, typography, responsiveness, and consistency.
  • Recreate existing live site layouts in Figma when original design files are unavailable.
  • Work in fast iteration loops with Account Managers to deliver high-quality updates without drawn-out review cycles.
  • Provide designs that are implementation-ready for Developers (clear structure, consistent components, sensible constraints).
  • Design ad creative and variations for paid campaigns.
  • Collaborate directly with the Chief of Staff on internal marketing priorities.
  • Support campaign landing page design as needed.
