About The Position

CGI has an immediate need for a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest customers. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies. This role is located at a client site in Reston, VA or Washington, DC. A hybrid working model is acceptable. We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years! We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team. This role is pivotal in shaping user-centered digital experiences that are both visually compelling and functionally effective. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into intuitive design solutions that meet user needs and align with brand standards.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar platforms.
Deep understanding of UX principles, design thinking, and user-centered design methodologies.
Experience designing for responsive web and mobile interfaces, with attention to accessibility standards (WCAG).
Skilled in creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts.
Ability to conduct and apply insights from user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
Comfortable working in collaborative environments, partnering with product managers, developers, and stakeholders.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design decisions clearly.
Familiarity with design systems and maintaining component libraries for consistency.
Experience with front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
Prior experience working in Agile product teams.
Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, preferably in enterprise or product-driven environments.

Nice To Haves

Relevant certifications in UX/UI Design or Design Thinking are a plus.
