About The Position

Our Daily Bread Ministries is seeking a Senior Typesetter and Composition Artist to lead the interior design, typesetting, and composition of print and publishing resources that support our global mission. This role plays a key part in ensuring our devotionals, booklets, and book projects are visually engaging, brand-consistent, and produced with excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in typesetting and composition art.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
• Strong understanding of typography, file preparation, prepress, and 4-/5-color printing.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
• Customer-service focused and receptive to feedback.
• Commitment to biblical principles and alignment with ODBM’s faith-based mission.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute typesetting and interior layout for: Our Daily Bread monthly and quarterly devotionals Special Editions and Discovery Series booklets Our Daily Publishing book projects
• Collaborate with project management, content, manufacturing, and design teams to ensure smooth review and approval processes.
• Prepare, manage, and maintain production-ready files, including preflight, output, storage, and version control.
• Partner with Supply Chain and external vendors to ensure print quality and resolve production issues.
• Stay current on typography and design trends, applying them thoughtfully in alignment with ODBM’s mission.
• Coordinate freelance photographers, illustrators, and external studios as needed.
• Support international design teams and assist with stock photography, project logs, and invoices.
• Lead by influence—delivering creative solutions, managing workflow independently, and meeting deadlines and budgets.
