About The Position

The position involves overseeing the administrative review of trust, investment management, custody, and individual retirement accounts, as well as estates and guardianships. The role requires a strong understanding of Personal Trust Administration processes, fiduciary laws, and regulatory compliance, with a focus on risk management and strategic planning. The successful candidate will work independently and collaboratively to identify issues, implement solutions, and support audits and compliance reviews, while also contributing to the development of change management plans.

Requirements

  • 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in Personal Trust Administration or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of Personal Trust Administration processes and procedures.
  • Understanding of Trust Tax, Trust Accounting, and Investment Management.
  • Knowledge of fiduciary laws, estate planning techniques, and relevant tax regulations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaborative skills.
  • Understanding of the regulatory environment impacting the personal fiduciary business.

  • Experience with change management activities.
  • Familiarity with risk management practices in financial services.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct administrative reviews of trust, investment management, custody, and individual retirement accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Identify and escalate irregularities and discrepancies to management.
  • Assist in the development of strategic plans and change management activities.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the Policies and Procedures Manual.
  • Cross-train team members to ensure coverage and contingency planning.
  • Support audits and compliance reviews as assigned.
  • Develop and implement action plans for remediation of issues.
  • Anticipate possible risks in all assigned tasks and propose remediation based on existing procedures.
