About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Treasury Management Consultant (TMC) to join our Global Payments and Liquidity team within Enterprise Functions. This role focuses on deepening client relationships, identifying cash‑flow optimization opportunities, and providing consultative treasury solutions for companies with $25MM–$100MM in annual revenue. You will partner closely with Relationship Managers (RMs) and product specialists to deliver tailored treasury strategies that improve clients’ working capital, streamline payments, reduce fraud risk, and support overall liquidity management. You will also be responsible for driving new business, managing a targeted sales pipeline, and ensuring retention of existing treasury clients. This is a high‑impact, client‑facing role requiring strong financial acumen, relationship management skills, and the ability to translate complex treasury operations into actionable solutions. In this role, you will: Client Engagement & Relationship Management Serve as a primary treasury advisor, helping clients optimize cash flow, payment processes, and liquidity strategies Conduct discovery meetings to understand client business models and treasury needs Build and maintain strong relationships with C‑suite and finance leaders Consultative Selling & Solution Design Partner with Relationship Managers to develop customized treasury strategies Recommend solutions for payments, receivables, liquidity, and fraud mitigation Deliver client presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations. Manage the full sales cycle from assessment through implementation handoff Sales Goal Execution & Pipeline Management Meet or exceed annual revenue, cross‑sell, and activity targets Maintain an organized, active sales pipeline using CRM tools Identify opportunities to deepen product usage within existing client portfolios Analysis & Issue Resolution Assess client operations to identify efficiency, risk reduction, and cost‑saving opportunities Independently resolve moderately complex treasury issues by collaborating with internal partners Provide guidance on cash‑management best practices and payment‑security solutions Leadership & Collaboration Lead treasury projects to ensure smooth implementation and positive client experience Partner with internal teams to develop solutions for complex client needs Mentor less experienced team members and support their development

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Treasury Management Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of payables and receivables processes, including workflow optimization and cash‑flow impacts
  • Proven experience managing high volumes of sales calls with a strategic approach to planning, execution, and anticipating customer needs while delivering a high‑touch client experience
  • Proactive, self‑driven approach with the ability to consult, engage, and influence prospects in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent partnership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams and remain receptive to feedback

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex treasury concepts for diverse audiences
  • Experience working with Emerging Middle Market clients ($25MM–$100MM revenue) and familiarity with treasury platforms, payment technologies, and fraud‑mitigation solutions
  • CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) designation or willingness to pursue.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in both languages to support diverse clients
