About The Position

Bunge is seeking highly motivated corporate finance professional who is excited to work in a high-paced environment, applying corporate finance theory to real business challenges within Bunge's Global Treasury team. Treasury is a global function within Bunge that manages Company's capital structure, ensures the Company has adequate amount of appropriately priced capital, manages currency and interest rate risk, supports Company's strategic transformation as well as day to day smooth commercial operation. The role will have both internal (regional and global) and external (banks, investment advisors, rating agencies etc.) stakeholders to manage.. The function works closely with executive leadership team and other areas of finance including tax, controlling, FP&A and business development. The role provides tremendous opportunity to grow in the treasury function and the broader finance organization for the right candidate.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is required, master's preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in treasury or a related financial discipline, demonstrating  working knowledge and experience in their chosen discipline.
  • Basic knowledge of financial markets, treasury operations, and risk management principles.
  • Outstanding quantitative and analytical abilities; thorough familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple ongoing projects, set priorities.
  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous, fast-paced, multi-cultural work environment; to interpret a variety of instructions; solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables and situations where only limited standardization and structure exists.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the design, strategy, and execution of Debt Capital Markets (DCM) and equity transactions, actively participating in all issuance activities including marketing, legal documentation, pricing, and hedging.
  • Collaborate with banking partners and book-runners to structure and execute optimal capital market transactions, continuously monitoring market conditions to identify innovative financing solutions aligned with company objectives.
  • Support the management of Bunge's Commercial Paper (CP) program, including coordinating with dealers to optimize issuance strategy and ensuring efficient execution.
  • Participate in the execution and ongoing management of specific bank debt facilities as needed.
  • Monitor global financial and credit market trends, analyze their potential impact on Bunge's liability portfolio, and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Assist the treasury leadership team in managing the rating agency relationships.
  • Monitor credit rating agency publications and analyses of Bunge's industry and competitors, assess potential impact for Bunge and recommend proactive strategies or communications.
  • Serve as the internal expert on credit rating agency methodologies, providing insightful analysis and opinions on the potential rating implications of Bunge's strategic initiatives and planned corporate actions.
  • Calculate Bunge's capital deployment capacity and assess the credit rating implications of proposed capital allocation strategies.
  • Collaborate with the FP&A team to develop, update, and maintain Bunge's strategic finance model, which underpins capital allocation decisions and support external financial communications.
  • Provide ad-hoc analytical support for critical corporate finance initiatives -  including developing and managing complex financial models and collaborate cross-functionally to gather necessary commercial insights.
  • Deliver analytical and decision support for affiliate financing activities  - encompassing intercompany rating and funding rate, dividend planning, capital contributions, and payment terms, while meticulously evaluating profitability, cash flow, tax implications, sovereign risk, and currency exposures.
  • Lead Bunge's interest expense forecasts, monitor the funding mix across regions, and develop detailed monthly cash flow projections to support liquidity and capital planning.
  • Develop and maintain risk-adjusted cost of capital metrics (WACC, PBT interest rate, OPWC charge, incremental cost of funds), ensuring their appropriate understanding and application throughout the organization.
  • Support comprehensive treasury reporting, including preparation of materials for Board and management presentations, and ensuring accurate external reporting disclosures related to treasury activities.
