About The Position

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Transportation Manager to join their award-winning team. This role will be based out of their Mid-Atlantic operations, supporting both the Baltimore, MD and Chambersburg, PA corporate locations. The Senior Transportation Manager will oversee multiple transportation operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and customer service expectations. This leader will hold full P&L responsibility, including weekly payroll oversight and related reporting. The ideal candidate will excel in customer interaction and effectively supervise dispatchers, administrative personnel, and Class A drivers. This role serves as a critical representative of the company, ensuring customer transportation needs are met with excellence. Frequent local and regional travel is required for site visits, operational start-ups, and ongoing support. This is a Direct Hire role.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven leadership experience
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and transportation industry software
• Solid understanding of DOT regulations for Class A drivers
• Minimum 2 years of P&L oversight
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience
• At least 5 years of experience in a dedicated trucking or transportation environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Organizational Development, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
