TYLin- City Solutions nationwide traffic and transportation engineering team is continually growing, and we are currently seeking an experienced, creative, and detail-oriented Senior Transportation Engineer who is eager to work on a wide variety of transportation projects including traffic impact analysis, traffic simulation/modeling, neighborhood transportation and parking studies, multimodal planning and analyses, complete streets design, traffic management plans, and safety studies. The successful candidate will lead projects and tasks from initiation to completion, train junior staff, and contribute to business development and marketing activities such as writing proposals and attending industry events.

  • Collaborate with staff across multiple offices.
  • Manage priorities and think creatively.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or transportation engineering.
  • 6-10 years of experience in traffic engineering and/or transportation planning.
  • Registered professional engineer (PE) in California. California TE will be considered.
  • High proficiency in Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS, and/or Vissim.
  • Experience with 2-D roadways design (conceptual/preliminary design).
  • Expert user of Excel.
  • Experience in project management and interacting with clients.
  • Ability to commute to the office at least three (3) days per week.
  • Authorization to work in the US.
  • Experience with CEQA analyses.
  • Interest in transportation planning/bicycle and pedestrian engineering.
