Be our next Senior Transportation Designer Your work environment at EXP In this role, you will be a part of the Transportation team, based in Tampa, FL We seek a team player who desires a highly collaborative work environment, has excellent client and communication skills, and strong design capabilities. We seek a candidate with expertise on the Florida's Department of Transportation (FDOT) roadway projects. The types of projects include RRR Pavement Only Projects, Ride Only, SMART, Reconstruction and Safety.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum 15 years related experience
Demonstrated experience leading the production and final delivery of FDOT CADD deliverables, managing schedule and budget, and maintaining high quality work products.

Responsibilities

Effectively negotiate, plan, monitor and deliver quality projects and consulting services
Knowledge of FDOT design standards, specifications, Basis of Estimates and Designer Interface.
Planning, organizing, and supervising the work of other transportation professionals
Lead roadway plans preparation and development efforts
Direct roadway design engineering projects including signalization and signing and pavement markings
Ability to work in OpenRoads and 3D Engineering Modeling software
Understanding of FDOT’s QC compliance criteria
Understanding of FDOT’s EQR
Experience developing, negotiating, and managing scopes, schedules, and budgets
