Position overview: This role will be providing strategic support to the entire organization. The Transportation Analyst will be responsible for implementing strategies and workflows surrounding successful execution of freight, including expedited orders while providing world-class customer service. Requests could come from internal or external customers and will require a process of accurate, quick and clear communication.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or minimum of 3 years Logistics/Supply Chain/Transportation or similar role experience.
Competency with Excel and other Office applications
Detail and Process oriented
May require occasional after hours and weekend work.
Detail oriented, organized, and objective.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient at analyzing data and making decisions.
Excellent written/verbal communication skills: demonstrate good listening skills, communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management: establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Independent and organized work style: can effectively manage time and prioritize workload, manages multiple tasks without close supervision, and consistently meets deadlines.

Responsibilities

Managing day-to-day transportation carrier relationships
Managing complex international carrier routings
Maintain and utilize TMS (Transportation Management Software)
Execute freight processes, standards, and shipments
Validate freight carrier invoices
Measure and evaluate carrier effectiveness
Preparing reports on routing and financial metrics
Update and maintain KPI's
Support global and local transportation initiatives
Provide day-to-day support of internal and external customers regarding transportation
Other duties as assigned
