About The Position

Understanding of the use of traffic analysis tools including VISSIM, Sidra, Synchro/SimTraffic, and HCS Understanding of the application of traffic operations principles including ITE, MUTCD, AASHTO, and state DOT requirements, policies, manuals and procedures Experience/familiarity with Microstation and/or Bentley OpenRoads. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work well in groups as well as independently. Experience in operational and/or safety analysis. Experience with Traffic Analysis and Engineering principles. Experience in one or more of the following areas: FDOT design standards, ITS design, traffic operations studies, intersection conceptual drafting, or safety studies.

Requirements

Experience/familiarity with Microstation and/or Bentley OpenRoads.

Ability to work well in groups as well as independently.
10+ years of relevant work experience
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Ability to obtain Florida PE within one 2months of hire.
Must possess a U.S. Driver's License
Experience in operational and/or safety analysis.
Experience with Traffic Analysis and Engineering principles.
Experience in one or more of the following areas: FDOT design standards, ITS design, traffic operations studies, intersection conceptual drafting, or safety studies.
