  • Lead full-cycle compensation and rewards initiatives - from strategy definition to implementation and impact tracking.
  • Define and execute equity, bonus, and incentive program design with an eye toward strategic alignment, equity, and performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HRBP, Finance, Recruiting, and Legal to drive pay transparency, equity, and decision-consistency.
  • Manage and improve compensation processes, including job architecture, salary reviews, and pay equity analyses; support compliance with relevant laws and policies.
  • Develop compensation communication materials and deliver clear reporting and analytics.
  • Analyze benefits utilization data and market trends to assess competitiveness and cost-effectiveness of current offerings.
  • Develop annual benefits strategy by modeling plan design changes, premium share scenarios, vendor comparisons, and renewal evaluations.
  • Evaluate new benefits offerings and propose enhancements that reflect employee needs and business goals.
  • Support benefits program reviews, benchmarking, and vendor evaluations to ensure competitive offerings.
  • Partner with the PeopleOps team on annual enrollment, employee communications, and data audits.
  • Translate total rewards data into strategic business decisions that fuel talent attraction, retention, and financial outcomes.
  • Influence the design and implementation of enterprise-wide total rewards strategy, advising on how compensation and benefits programs impact employee behavior, motivation, and retention.
  • Integrate compensation, benefits, and performance data into a cohesive, insight-driven total rewards strategy that aligns with business and talent outcomes.
  • Evaluate emerging trends and technologies (e.g., AI in comp, personalized benefits) and recommend test-and-learn pilots.
  • Deliver reporting, analytics, and communication materials to ensure leaders and employees understand total rewards programs.
  • Champion improvements to comp systems, workflows, data integrity, and equity analytics-using AI and modern comp tech where applicable.
  • Lead complex projects independently, building strong stakeholder relationships, and balancing organizational priorities, cost implications, and employee experience.
  • Continuously refine processes with internal teams and external consultants to ensure market competitiveness, scalability, and internal equity.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and other duties as required.
  • 5+ years of progressive Compensation/Total Rewards experience with deep knowledge of compensation frameworks, salary structures, job architecture, pay equity practices, and benefits strategy/operations.
  • Hands-on experience designing and administering bonus, equity, and incentive programs; proven ability to interpret and apply market data from providers such as Radford, Mercer, or Option Impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect total rewards strategy to organizational goals, financial realities, and employee engagement.
  • Proficiency with compensation tools/ technology, HRIS (Workday required), and advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Strong systems thinker with the ability to see how tools, processes, and people interact.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; trusted partner who can balance analytical rigor with strategic perspective.
  • Solid understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., FLSA, pay equity, ACA).
  • Experience with AI in compensation and personalized benefits.
