Role Summary: This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced Thermal Engineer â Thermal Protection Systems located in California. The Thermal Engineer will work in a hands-on, collaborative environment, serving as a Subject Matter Expert for space and aerospace thermal applications. This role spans the entire product lifecycle, from concept generation and comprehensive thermal modeling to hardware fabrication, verification testing, and final production. The candidate will collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, production staff, and customers to ensure thermal protection hardware, including active/passive designs and soft goods, meets stringent performance, safety, and environmental requirements. The candidate must be a meticulous self-starter who pays attention to details, possesses excellent communication skills, and takes responsibility for driving technical solutions to resolution.
